Lazy Girl does "The Minimalist Challenge" - Day 5

Apr 25, 2015
Identify your 3-6 main priorities.
1. My loved ones.
The people that have made me their main priority are mine in return.
2. My health.
Gotta try to not be sick any more. In “my health” I’m wrapping up all physical health and mental wellbeing. Healthy eating, Netflix marathons, exercise. You be the idea.
3. Writing (and other areas of self-improvement).
I want to be a better writer. A better friend, baker, public speaker. Basically I just want to be better.
4. Charity.
I love doing charity work, getting the opportunity to help make a difference in some way. Someone said that no charity is selfless because it makes you feel good when you do it, that charity is inherently selfish. I don’t see this as a bad thing. You get to do a job were you a) make someone else’s life a little easier. And b) feel good whilst doing it. I fail to see the bad in this.
5. Travel.
Exploration. New people. New places. The world. I know I’m just writing two word sentences but it’s the wanderlust. The wander bug… I’ve got it.
Um. I think that’s it. There are sub-priorities that have thought out objectives and goals that I’m attempting to hit but they all fit into one of these 5 main priorities.
The aim of this task is to identify a purpose of which to live by. When you do a thing in your day are you acting within the priorities you’ve set for yourself? Or not?
It unjumbles the messiness that life can sometimes become and it definitely helps to have them written down.
That’s all for today.
