Bus and buds - Blogmas Day 3
Travelling to London started off with the usual panic attack. I’m not great at being trapped on places for long stints of time. Especially when the place I’m going isn’t exactly where I want to be.
I don’t like London. It’s no shock. It’s no surprise. And so I’m on the bus, I’m stuck going somewhere strange and foggy. Where I can’t breathe and the people walk too fast.
I’m doing a Christmas with my friends and this is where they live, so I’m there. It’s rare that we’re all together and what’s a bus ride and a moment of panic to be with my friends?
Tonight though, it was curry and cookies. (Yep, I made the cookies).
I finished Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. It was fantastic!
And I started La Belle Sauvage by Phillip Pullman.
And shuffled my way through The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.
I don’t have much else to say about the day and I wanna get this up before midnight… So here’s some blurry phone pictures.
Thanks for reading!
