Book Harvest: August 2017

Aug 5, 2017

I’m still trying to live in a minimalist book world. Instead of buying twenty books a month I’m now only buying as many as I think I can read. When they’re done, I’ll be dipping into my back log of unread beauties and trying to carve a hole into them. And there are plenty to choose from!

*You don’t work for Waterstones if you hate books and when you leave you certainly don’t stop buying them, loving them or any of that nonsense!*

This month I’ve used the last bit of a gift card to buy these beauties. Yes, I know that they’re already a little bit wrecked! My bag was too full of work things so they got a bit battered! I will never learn!

A Place Called Perfect by Helena Duggan
It’s the Waterstones kids book of the month. I’ve been told it’s perfect… get it? Get it? (The book’s called perfect…)

Armada by Ernest Cline
Last month I read Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and I thought I’d try another one. I have high hopes!

On Writing by Stephen King
This is a work purchase but I’ve also been wanting to read it for a little while. It’s a good mix of writing advice and an auto-biography. If you like Stephen King, writing or dry humour it’ll be worth a read.

So that’s the new members of the family for August, I’ll try my very best to sort out some kind of review situation?! I’ll keep you posted!

Have an awesome weekend and thanks for reading!
