Fashion Blog: GET YOUR LEGS OUT

For me, fashion is part of everyday life. Well, I say fashion but really they are just clothes. I wouldn’t go out naked so I’ve got to wear them… and it just seems natural to wear the things I like. I don’t tend to follow regular fashion trends and my overall wardrobe is edging more towards comfortable-grunge over fashionable-chic, but I know a couple of things about styling, grooming and that kind of stuff so do with this what you will, it’s fun to write about anyway.

Unless you’ve been living in a box for the last few thousands of years, you might have noticed that summer is hot. Even in the UK the sun is fighting its way through the skepticism clouding us Brits and right now we’ve got a pretty decent summer. So here are my few tips

So here are my few tips for keeping cool in the summer sun. Playsuits. Why have these been buried under the radar for so long?! They are so so perfect for this type of weather it’s unreal. Choose a loose style with light fabric and you can’t go wrong really. Though try not to need the toilet… because they can be a bit of a bitch in that way.

Invest in a good pair of sandals, especially if you’re planning on doing a lot of walking. There are so many crappy little shoes around at this time. All caked in embellishments and break within a week. Try and stay away from those… not that I really need to say that.

It’s better to buy a good shoe and spend a bit more, than to buy a shitty shoe that costs peanuts and looks “like sooo trendy” but snaps if you stub a toe.

I wear the same gladiator sandals that have been gracing my wardrobe for a few summers now, and they are perfect and tend to match everything.

Shorts are a summer must. I see people walking about with big heavy jeans or thick tights on and I can’t help but think that they must have major sweats! Or they’re made of ice.

Either way, it’s summer… GET YOUR LEGS OUT. Don’t worry if you’ve got knobbly knees, or flabby thighs, or mosquito bite scars that look like polka dots. Get. Them. Out. You’ll feel a million times better.

I bare my legs to the tune of white denim cut-offs with splattered with paint, teamed with any kind of vest top really.

So that’s all the comprehensive information my wardrobe can squeeze out for summer, I’ll think of something a little more impressive for next week.

(Like I said my grip on fashion is a little bit… tired.)

That’s all for now.
